Script Coverage session with Jario Alvarado of Circle of Confusion management agency

Had hit a wall while working on my synopsis after finishing my screenplay. Had circulated the script among my trusted circle of people and had good feedback and added some necessary tweaks. So I engaged Jario via Stage32 to do a coverage session. Spoke to Jario earlier this week and had a fantastic session with him. He got right to the core issue of the script and provided tons of comparisons to produced films to bolster his analysis. Now the hard work has begun, to edit out and streamline the story but am very thankful to have done this process as it will save an enormous amount of time and effort. Highly recommend working with Jario.

Can't under estimate the time savings and value of the service. Was spending a crazy amount of time spinning around trying to nail down the synopsis and all because I had to many spokes in the wheel. Trimming it down and saving the extraneous material for a different story. Great service.

Thanks for sharing the your experience here, John. Wow, wow, wow, plus 3 the three amazing from Joey.

Richard Willett

I had a great session with Jairo, also, John. So helpful. Highly recommended! Thanks to Joey.

it is really amazing how this forum has become basically a testimonial page for people who got coverage from stage 32. Can I post my testimonials too?

Beth Fox Heisinger

You have testimonials on your web site -- right, Danny? On Stage 32 the best place to post those would be in the "Your Stage" section. Perhaps ask a client of yours to post about their experience here in the "Screenwriting" section. :)

Origin of the word TESTIMONY -- from ancient Rome. When a Roman citizen was taking an oath (i.e, swearing to tell the truth), he would place his right hand on his testicles. So let's see those "testimonial" photos, gang!

@Linda This is a networking site for the narrative film industry, not San Fernando's pornographic film industry.

Beth Fox Heisinger

No. No, let's not see those. :/

Is it sad that I think a Roman swearing an oath that way would actually make a fairly dramatic scene in a screenplay? Less dramatic if we didn't cover his manbits though.

Tony Cella

@Emily: Less dramatic? You said it was understated! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0nqZii2RjI
