I just found out that my screenplay 9/10 was the first runner-up in the Cynosure Screenwriting Awards Diversity Category. Among other things, I win fifteen hundred bucks. I'm off to the Austin Film Festival tomorrow (where I second-rounded with two scripts!!), so I guess with all that prize money, it's drinks on me at the Driskill Bar!
