Oop, just discovered I need to introduce myself. Better late than never. Heya! I'm David, and I'm a writer living in the SF Bay Area. (Oakland, precisely.) Sooo, I write. A lot. Screenplays and teleplays, and shorts, and all kinds of stuff. Should I move south to L.A.? Probably. I'll get there soon—lest PIXAR finally gives me a ring. (Seriously guys, I'm like a block away from your front gates. Just give me a call already!) So, I really find myself gravitating towards writing animated scripts for TV and/or a web series. (I just uploaded one of my scripts...let me know if it didn't work.) So, now I just need to find the animators who want to partner with me to make all of this happen. I know there are a lot of you in the area. Let's find each other on here. I've done pretty well in tvwriter.net's different contests, so that keeps me going, but I'm ready to start making those big steps towards a full-fledged production. I went to school in the Bay Area and I've found it to be a lot more helpful being in LA. It doesn't hurt as there are more events, like-minded people, and filming happening all the time. I still commute back and forth to SF as it's only an hour flight. You'll spend the same amount of time or more in LA traffic or on Sunset Bvld haha
