As someone who just does not write straight sit-com type comedies - it's not my interest or strong suit, more power to those who work in this area - I was so happy to see dramedy listed More contests need to start recognizing this as a legit category.

What a horrible term "Dramedy" is. Are people too lazy to use "comedy-drama"?

Terri, I'm an improv actor in Miami and am always so disappointed when scenes steer away from serious situations for fear that it won't be 'funny.' But I also LOVE humor and think that it can be such a healing force. So Dramedy is right up my alley. I have been absent from Stage32 for far too long, I see. I'll have to check all this stuff out!
