Hello John, this is awesome and thanks for posting this. It is funny because all throughout film school we were taught that the essential learning of your career begins in the field. I always thought that film school in some way should assist in that learning process and unfortunately there are some missed steps. I need the guidance that you speak of, for I am retired military (served in 3 branches), a disabled veteran (100% rating), and recent graduate of film school and I trying to find my footing. Would love to be able to speak with you on what that looks like.
