I am the Founder and Artistic Director of Actors Repertory Theatre Luxembourg (Actors Rep), the only professional English-language theatre company in the country. Originally from the US, I trained as an actor, made my professional debut at fifteen, have worked on well over a hundred productions since that time. I'm mostly a director these days, but have continued to work on film and voice-over projects from time to time, and have recently returned to stage acting as well. (The picture is from an October 2015 show.) With several others, I co-founded Actors Rep in 2012. We did our first production in 2013 and are about to start rehearsals on the next one, our fifth, opening in March 2016. I also work as a theatre critic and journalist and I occasionally write for academic journals about theatre. At one time or another, I've been a playwright, dramaturge, theatre professor (adjunct), teacher, stage hand, costumer, props builder, box office person, etc.
Wow...Very impressive, Erik! Would love if you would guest blog on your experiences. I think you would have much to offer the community based on your vast experience!
