It's been a good day in Beverly Hills, as my script about wild man writer Charles Bukowski is an official selection and will be competing for best screenplay at Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Ah ha! You're in this too. Got two in there and will be headed to the fest. Will you be there? We could have fun!
PS congrats on this too... seems like we all write that so much to you, mate. You must be working the magic mojo overtime.

Wow, congratulations. I have a brother who's fascinated with Bukowski and I've put him on to you and your script. There's a huge audience out there.
@Philip I'm due for a trip to my homeland. So, it's a possibility. And, congrats to you as well. It's always nice to get an OS. As far as mojo, I just don't get too hung up on any one screenplay and keep writing. I know you bang out a few yourself, so I think it might be a Phillip/Philip thing. @Kathryn: Thanks again. @Richard: So far Hank fans are liking this one. It's a good dramedy.
Nooice! Congrats Phillip. Best of luck~
@Tomasz: Thanks and thanks for connecting here.
@Victor and Crystal: Thanks!

I'd love to see this film! Bukowski often said that his home address was the drunk ward at L.A. County Hospital. 1970-1974 I was a medical student at the USC School of Medicine, which was across the street from L.A. County Hosp -- one day I had a ward clerk look up "Charles Bukowski," He wasn't in the system-- no where in the whole L.A. County health care system. Either "Charles Bukowski" was a pseudonym, or the story was baloney. I'd love to find out which it was!
Wow, congrats!
Sheer awesomeness, Philip. Nice to see a poet onscreen (for a change).
