Introduce Yourself : Hi everyone! I'm Yvonne, actress in Denmark by Yvonne Andersen

Yvonne Andersen

Hi everyone! I'm Yvonne, actress in Denmark

I’m raised and live in Denmark and had to turn 50 before I discovered what passion was to me, it’s acting. Since then I have followed my passion day and night. I have a fulltime job as a quality consultant at a big VET school and use all my free time for my acting. Time is against me, so I do all I can, to step up on the train. The last two years I have taken part in more than 60 different productions. Going from small productions to big productions. I haven’t quite found my favorite role in acting, I am seeking and learning. I have done a lot of different roles and some jobs as an Extra. Some Theatre, commercials, shorts and big movies, mostly film acting. From horror figures in DYSTOPIA Haunted House to the nice mom in movies and on stage. I just love to challenge myself and explore. Besides that, I take different courses ex impro workshops, Meisner workshops, Dustin Hoffman’s MasterClass etc. everything that I feel can make me a better Actress.

Debbie Croysdale

I've never heard of Dustin Hoffmans master class, I will look into it, sounds interesting. I'm often Scandinavia searching new material. Re your intro, Time is on anyone's side, who uses it wisely, the older we get the more power and knowledge gained as you have proved in your recent skills. Welcome Stage 32.

Yvonne Andersen

Thank you Debbie :-) Your words warms me. In may 2015 MasterClass.com launched Dustin Hoffmans MasterClass. in Marts 2016 Kevin Spacy will also launch his MasterClass. I will attend this too. It's online with the use og scenepartners around the world to practice the scenes all students are rehearsing from. I can recommend it very highly. It feels like you are given the chance to run of, with all the best advises you can get from some of the best. I learned a lot from Mr. Hoffman and I hope I will do the same from Mr. Spacy.

Debbie Croysdale

Thanks for the update. I'm relocating from my last Drama Hub which was based London, but hope soon to have Indie group sponsored by local Government, LOL Denmark not that far away.

Yvonne Andersen

No, with Ryanair it's not far away :-)

Debbie Croysdale

I've been busy researching Kommunes all over Scandinavia, but Christiania is definitely on the cards. I've heard it's like nowhere else on earth, it's own kind of rules and way of life. Will try to avoid Ryanair LOL.

Yvonne Andersen

I know what you mean when you say avoiding Ryianair LOL. Christiania is in Copenhagen, and yes it is a place that is one of a kind with own rules and way of life :-) What have you heard of about Christiania? And what are you seeking for?

Debbie Croysdale

I'm trying to get permission to do a film on different ways of "living". I've been told its a one off, with regards legal daily policies in Scandinavian Kommunes. From what it sounds, it seems a kind of "Tardis" from the hippy way of life sixties. We live and learn. I may be disappointed.

Yvonne Andersen

I don't think that you will dissappointed. It is a little like hippy life in the sixties in a modern world. It is a very interesting place where they the things in their own way. I hope that you will get the permission

Debbie Croysdale

Thanks for the update. I hope they let me in the gate. I was thinking how cool it would be to get an Indie group going there, something with a different edge to anything else out there. I'm letting my imagination run away with me, maybe they have a bartering system, where no money need change hands cutting out the need of producer. Will suck it and see!
