Introduce Yourself : Been and done a lot of stuff, now to do what I dreamed of in the first place! by Keith Van Allen

Hello, I'm Keith Van Allen and I've spent many years in animated cartoons,(Taz Chester Cheetos, Care Bears,Doug& others) animating, directing,designing,concept,storyboard for TV shows and commercials. I started drawing very early and more or less "fell" into this while in college,but I really wanted to direct feature films of a cine-fantastique nature ,with live action plus animated effects,both dramatic and comic. After many escapades in the industry, nearly having my own series,and feature deals at some points, I now prefer to try to develop my screenplays and short film ideas as indie projects based in my home state of VA.I've also had an off-on acting career over the years. I want to make films with new and innovative subject matter, but artistically influenced more by classic film. This looks like a wonderful forum to be a part of, so I'm happy to be here.
