I Love Writers!

Hey Everyone-- It's a beautiful Sunday in L.A. and I'm so happy to be here! I'm a writer, story consultant and writing coach. I’ve worked as a story consultant for Disney/Pixar, and written screenplays for Touchstone Pictures, Witt-Thomas Productions and Disney’s animation division. As a writing coach, I've worked with NY Times bestselling authors, experienced screenwriters, and beginners of all stripes on their books and screenplays. I serve as a mentor/judge in the CINESTORY Screenwriting Competition, and have worked as a volunteer teacher for InsideOUT Writers-- a non profit that runs creative writing workshops inside Los Angeles County’s juvenile halls. I’m a member of the Writer’s Guild of America, teach in UCLA Extension’s Creative Writing Program, and write a weekly blog on writing craft and inspiration at patverducci.com. Hi Liliana-- so amazing that you have such a great body of work! Congratulations! Yes, I am of Italian origin. My dad is Sicilian and my mother's family is from Northern Italy. I grew up near San Francisco, where there is a huge Italian community. Where are you from?
