Hello my name is Carl. I'd like to introduce myself to the board. I'm 54 and I live in Chicago. My background is in theater. I was a freelance stage director for about 20 years. I have since retired from the theater world. I have just completed my my 3rd screenplay. The first 2 were crap, but great learning experiences to write. I just entered my new script in the Stage 32 screenplay competition. I'm already at work on my next script. I'm new to the Stage 32 board and excited to take in all in.

Thanks everyone for the support. My script, DANCING WITH MYSELF, was selected for the quarter finals in Stage 32's Happy Writers Feature Screenplay Contest. So excited!
