Well it has been a while since I last posted. You probably won't remember me, lol. I've been around, checking back now and then to see what's going on and to read posts. I hope you're all doing well! Anyway, after shelving my screenplay for a good few months - Riddled with self doubt (a bad trait of mine) - I finally gave myself a well needed kick up the rear end and finished it tonight. I say 'finished', but it still needs some revisions, and am hoping to make the final deadline for the current contest. God willing! I'm currently at 2 hours 5 minutes of screen time give or take, so I am hoping to get it down to around 1 hour 50 max during revisions, to fit with the recommended length of a spec script. This shouldn't be too difficult. No doubt I have scenes in there that I don't really need. I was also wondering when the next contest will be? Just in case I don't make this one, 'cause I obviously want/need to be sure it's as solid as it can be, then maybe I can make the next, which in reality, may benefit me more having the extra time.

check out Sundance or the Disney feature scripts Workshop program. Disney pays you $$$$ as an employee learning the writing craft
Isn't the Disney program USA specific? Plus it's not guaranteed to get in. Would be an amazing opportunity otherwise. Thanks for the reply, though, Dan.

U know I;ve never checked if the program is only for USA residents. they pay a salary and u will need to move to Los Angeles. It's a great opportunity. get paid while you're in the "Disney School." Just submit like you are a USA resident. If u get picked, marry a local American. :)
Lol... Amazing idea. I've always wanted to live in America (LA). I don't think I'll be ready this time around, but maybe next year. It would be a dream come true to be taught by Disney. Oh, and marry an American, haha.
