Hi, everyone! I'm been a member for a few months but am still definitely a newbie here. I'm a writer who mainly writes about cemeteries--in my books and on my website (TheCemeteryClub.com). Currently I'm working on a book about silent film actresses and their graves. My goals is to help bring these ladies (and gentlemen in a future volume) back from a largely ignored part of film history. While I know there are film historians and aficionados who might disagree with that, it's not them I'm worried about. It's the general population. Of course, they're probably ignoring books on cemeteries, too. But I'm doing my best to increase people's interest and appreciation in cemeteries (and now silent stars) through my writing, site, social media and speaking engagements. Now to how I ended up here! Because of my cemetery site, I was contacted by a small, independent production team about consulting for the show they were working on. I've worked with them for a while now and eventually became a co-producer. And here I am, hoping to learn from people in the know and network with all of you. Today I also wanted to share in interesting article with you. "How to Notice Opportunities by Turning Off Your Autopilot" http://www.loromedia.com/how-to-notice-opportunities/?utm_medium=social&... Cheers! Minda

Greetings, Minda. I'm a cemetery geek too. You come to L.A., I'll give you a free tour of Westwood Village Cemetery. Meanwhile, check out L.A. Morgue Files, my site about crime and death in the City of Angels. www.LAmorguefiles.com
Hi, Brian! It's great to hear from you! I would LOVE a tour of Westwood the next time I come to L.A. I've been once, but for a small cemetery, there are so many people interred there. It's quite lovely and is one of my favorite L.A. cemeteries. I am familiar with LA Morgue Files. And I'm glad I can thank you "in person" for the information about the other people interred in the Mary Pickford plot. Would you be interested in being interview for my silent film stars and their graves as well as my website, www.TheCemeteryClub.com?
