Just got the bad news that I didn't make the cut for the PAGE's. It sucks, but rejection is part of the game (that, and it hardens that proverbial thick skin one needs to succeed in this business). But not to be a debby-downer, Buzz Killinton, stick-in-the-mus, I'm still going. As of now, I've got my work entered in the ISA fast track, Stage 32 2nd Annual Happy Writers Feature Contest, and I wrote a spec for the WB Writer's Workshop (I wrote an episode featuring my favorite Batman villain: The Mad Hatter). I'm hoping I place, and I'm hoping the work shines through, but we'll see. Cheers, and happy writing : )
Hey Antonio, there will be a lot of rejection on this road. Keep writing and learning!
