Nice resume Dave and nice to meet you. I googled your books I see we have something in common. I like to read those and hope to one day work in animating one.

David M. Salkin

Thanks, Renata! Still working on putting together my Stage 32 "resume" etc... but yes, I've written a bunch of books in several genres... bound to find SOMETHING in there! :)

Stephen Barber

What's up, David?! Welcome!

David M. Salkin

Hi Stephen... plenty is "up" ! LOL working on two novels at the same time (yikes) and trying to get two screenplays produced.. other than THAT... "not much"... :)

Stephen Barber

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, David. Sounds like you're capable of doing more! (hint-hint).

David M. Salkin

@stephen Holy CRUD, dude!! (I'm gonna' need more coffee I see....)

Stephen Barber

YES!

Erik Grossman

Hi David! Welcome to the community. To what post were you elected? It's been my dream for years to be part of some juicy political scandal. Maybe we can get something going - it'll be fun!

David M. Salkin

Thanks, Erik. I live and grew up in Freehold, NJ. I wanted to serve my country, but never ended up in the military. Elected office filled that niche. I've been in local government for 23 years. Was elected at 28 years old, the youngest in the history of my town, as far back as records could be checked. (Freehold was founded in 1693!) Freehold Township has the "Township Committee" form of government, where you are elected to a 3-year term as a Committeeman. The Township Committee then elects a Mayor and Deputy Mayor to serve a one-year term, which we rotate. During my tenure in office, I've served in every capacity. Mayor (5 times) Deputy Mayor (6 I think) and Committeeman. Also the Police Commissioner. I love my town, and our residents are actually very nice and extremely respectful of their local government. 36,000 residents and only a couple of crazies... VERY atypical! No juicy political scandals. We just quietly do our jobs and run the town like a business. Freehold Twp is a very well run town, and had had a 5-0 Republican governing body for 45 years. (Probably not too many Republicans in Hollywood! LOL) I wouldn't do this anywhere else. It's a great community.

Welcome to Stage 32, David!

Brendan Faulkner

Hi David, there is more to learn from this site than sitting with hundreds of books will ever teach you.

Erik Grossman

That sounds like a great place to be, David! Let me know if you'd like a scandal or two. We can go halvesies on the hookers and blow (I'm so kidding).

David M. Salkin

HAHAhahaha... You're confusing me with Marion Barry!! (and probably a lot of other dudes!)

Matt Hurd

Welcome to the community, Dave! Good to have you here!
