Hello everyone! My name is Kait, and I'm an aspiring screenwriter and director. In the meantime, however, I am a third-year student at Slippery Rock University where I'm majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Film & Media Studies. I've been telling stories my whole life long, but it was only in the last few years that I started really appreciating the art of film, and it made me realize that I could channel my love for writing into a filmmaking career. I'm very passionate about positive representations of marginalized people, which is an element I am adamant about including in my own films. From an aesthetic point of view, I also have a strong appreciation for good cinematography and scores. I'm really grateful for the opportunities that a site like this offers, and I'm excited to further my career with the help of it!
