Introduce Yourself : Actor/Director/Producer by Toni Deaver

It's introduce yourself weekend. Therefore I'm stopping in to say hello and follow the direction. I'm an award winning actress, I've been acting over 40 years. directing just over 30 years and producing about 5 years. I left a happily busy life in the industry 20 years ago, to rear children- during which time I started and ran an active theater group in Burbank, CA, then moved to the international non profit sector to produce and/or act in their fundraising events. Then to film school to transfer my directing from stage to film. Now that the kids are grown and gone, I've been coming back to the industry about 4 years. During this time I've done some film, tv, stage, improv and sketch comedy . I am a student of Spanish, because i live in Los Angeles and Duolingo tells me I'm 18% fluent. Shrugging my shoulders. :) I currently work sporadically for a Murder Mystery Group out of Las Vegas, sing at every available opportunity and I've got a strong handful of projects in various stages of development and soft pre-production. I'm cast in 5 films shooting over the next 6 months. Also am in development of the first feature I will be directing.
