Screenwriting : NEED a bit of UK to US translation! by Pippa Hinchley

What's a 'put pilot' anyone please? Anyone point me to some onesheets and/or leave behind docs for after a pitch - say at AFM - with more a writer/producer hat on. Must it include figures/budget/ more producer than writer content? Really struggling to see what you put on a single page for a 6x1 hour mini series as so much story and no 'typical' episode. Any links to examples would be fab. Thank so much. Pippa
