Introduce Yourself : Inspired Greetings from Giancarlo Santos -- Stage32 Newbie, lifelong Storyteller through Sound by Giancarlo Santos

From sketching comic book characters in first grade to songwriting from high school and onward, I feel I have a unique eye for the narrative. With filmmaking the ultimate goal, it is not to dissuade my songwriting endeavors. My path to composing actually began with roots in popular music and heavy metal, those being an eventual gateway into the visceral worlds of melodic death metal, modern jazz & classical music. From there I embraced the complexities of progressive, poly-rhythmic bands (Meshuggah, Born of Osiris), while never losing sight of my inner E.S. Posthumus, John Williams, Jeremy Soule and Hans Zimmer. My soundscapes, written under the guise of "A. Panacea", have found a home in SoundCloud and Facebook, featuring an amalgamation of most all the sounds that have influenced my life throughout the journey. So it is with great pleasure to begin working with other great storytellers and talents I see here on Stage32.
