What I like to do is pull all of the colors of my project together to discover how I would like to portray everyone in a scene. Light is one of the most important aspects of motion giving it a certain appeal that makes people just appreciate the art of Motion Pictures.

Check out UBREAKABLE for some of the most illuminating (pun intended) use of light and color. The cinematography in that film is used to great affect to inform character.
