Anyone knows who I could contact at #UTA United Talent Agency. I am looking for an agent to represent me for my award winning feature films screenplays. Thank you for sharing your ideas and comments below.

Slavica Bogdanov Just a suggestion from a Native New York screenwriter. Best way to make contact is to subscribe to @Imdbpro it is only $21.75 a month and gives you access to the e-mails, phone numbers of A-Listers Agents, managers, producers, directors etc, At that point you could start sending out query e-mails. I learned here at Stage 32 as a member over the last 2 years NETWORKING is just as important as honing your craft whether you are an Actor, Director, Writer or Producer. Good luck!!

A manager would be an easier get and a better bet. They help guide and build careers and would be into utilizing your screenplay accolades to spark some reads. Agents find higher-scaled pay work for their already working clients, so your awards pay them no dividends. If you're already working and making some figures or if you're working at a place they know promotes fast internally, it may be appealing to an agent.

Get your work out there, attend seminars at festivals, booze & schmooze your way around where agents hang out and network your brains out. You won't find an agent - an agent will find you.

Doug is right. Agents don't sit in the depot and look to sign people waiting to get on the train. They're already on the moving train surveying ticket holders.

Agree with Doug and Pidge. Also, I would like to add that a produced screenplay will increase the chance of landing an agent.

I had success meeting Industry people at AA meetings in Los Angeles

That is actually hilarious, Dan, no matter if you're there to utilize the program or just crash it. lol
Piggy backing off of what Doug, Pidge, Dicky said, I've been involved with a lot of feature films from writers who were not repped by an agent -- and shortly after we released, they signed with agents. It might be worth looking at indie producers first.
Are you only interested in UTA? Are you looking for any random agent to contact or are you looking for a personal referral?
You query any agency, and then you file the countless rejection letters as mementos of early struggle.
If you get a meet and greet, realize it is just that, as an actual offer is rarely forthcoming after one.
Dead serious.
