Hello ScreenTribe, I disdain Celtx and have Final Draft. I used to love Movie Magic Screenwriter too. I don't know what happened to the love for that MMS. I use Final Draft and have not been let down. Also, Cody from ScreenCraft has his own version of Writer Duet that I heard is great! I could be wrong but it may be a pay by month or all at once. I haven't trialed it yet. It is a new version of Screenwriting software. Does anyone else have experience with Writers Duet? I like my Final Draft! I may try something different. I also have experienced with Trelby. Any suggesstions Boys and Ghouls.
Tamim Almousa I just went in and tested it with the browser version of Celtx and it worked. Put an action line with sentence. Hit return. Entered a space. Hit return. Entered a space, hit return and typed another action line. Had two lines of spaces show up between the typed lines in the pdf preview ready for export.
I can't speak for Tamim, but I was trying to get WD to skip lines because the PDF ran them all together! Again, it looks fine on the site (in the browser), but the PDF doesn't look very good at all. I didn't think to just add a space and do it that way - that might work!

Most software doesn't really allow for that. Why fo you want to skip a line?

I use celtx. What do you mean skip a line?

Make it an action line, enter a space, hit return. Seems to work for me.

Chad, it works on the browser but when you preview the page you'll see the line has not moved down at all.

WD does this too. PDF also seems to delete blank lines, and squish spacing that appears normally on-site. It may be a browser thing.

celtx is on my computer, I don't open a browser before using. I've never had any problems with it.

Thanks, Chad.
Why are you skipping a line? Just out of curiosity. Are you trying to make something stand out?
