I am looking to collaborate with other filmmakers in the Portland area on projects. I love to edit and also have an interest in co-directing and co-screenwriting. Feel free to contact me with projects
Jean Francois Primas Greeting from a fellow Stage 32 member in NYC. Suggestion. If you want to collaborate with other film makers in the Portland area the best way is to start a local MEET UP. Go to the top horizontal bar and click on NETWORKING, Than scroll down to MEET UPS. Good luck.
Jean Francois - I'm a producer/screenwriter and sometimes director down in Eugene. I've shut my local studio down but will be relocating in the Corvallis area where I'll set my new studio. I have a production going on in Portland right now and have several on the docket. Perhaps we should speak?
I love hearing about productions being done in Portland. I am hoping to see a lot more. I have been working on a couple scripts meant to be filmed in Portland. I am still learning and love sharing. Thank you for your openness Jean Francois
Yes, strike! This conversation is what I love Stage32 for. :) Good luck for you all and for all your projects - and we would of course like to see the result. ;-)
I agree, Elisabeth! A great example of S32 at its best. What I'd like to see is a Lounge specifically devoted to Collaborations, esp. long-distance ones (where the team is spread across different locales). I would start one myself, but I can't figure out which Topic would be best.
John, I love the idea of an additional lounge for collaborations over long distances. So, we actually need 2 new lounges, one for people who search collaboration in their neighborhood and those who'd like to work international or have no problems with long distances. I suppose Richard "RB" Botto had a great idea on how to implement this idea best. :)
Well, he's the boss and will think about the idea and then delegate and NO, of course you can't set up a lounge. But you can open a discussion in the lounges you want to collaborate with.

Jean Francois Primas We were all new at one time. Just take a deep breath and know this is a very supportive community. Good luck.

Would RB be the one to set up the lounge, or is there some way to do it ourselves?

Elisabeth - I'll happily release it if the young Director can actually get it made. I have my doubts, but we'll see.
