Anybody out there with interest in or experience with Hallmark romcoms? I had previously written a Hallmark Christmas script that I went into a shopping agreement with a producer on. We pitched it to Hallmark but it wasn't the right tone and the process dead ended. I decided to start a new one and see if I could connect all the dots and make the magic happen. The producer is still interested in working with me, and I already pitched her the new idea.
Right now, I've got 80 pages written. I know it needs a lot of work, but I need help on which direction to go. I'm not exactly sure what it needs, I just know it's a half baked cake at this point.
I'm open to reading any genre, even though I noted romcoms above. You don't have to be writing a tv movie to give me feedback, but it would definitely help if you've seen at least one Hallmark movie. They all follow a pretty similar tone, so if you've seen one you'll get what I'm going for.
