For your Friday viewing pleasure Doug Brooks and I present our short film 'The Flame'. We were awarded best short at the Auckland International Film Festival this year, and best film, best cinematography and best directed at the Top of the South Film Festival 2016. Leah Abele-Jacksties took out best actress with her stunning performance as Lotte. A special shout out to our cinematographer James Wvinner and the Top of the South Filmmakers crew that made this film possible. Also to Markus Erdmann who played Doctor Bensemann. That was... intense. Had me at the edge of my seat. Extremely well directed, produced, the acting was spot on... I don't know about the other films, but I get the feeling you definitely deserved that award. Congratulations.
