I met a woman who has published several books, in novel form, about her life during
WWII in Germany, Belgium then Italy. She told a hair raising story in an Italian conversation group I attend. She said at one time (when??) Sophia Loren wanted
to do her story but then the go-between/agent died and she lost contact with her.
I've ordered the book from the library.
Any thoughts on a next step for her?
Erin. I am not sure what you are asking. Are you going to adapt it? If that is the case make sure she still owns the film rights and then try to make a deal on a percentage bases. I have adapted a dozen novels and I never wanted to risk my money if I was writing them on spec. My agent is producing a movie about German Nazis in England during WWII so if you do adapt it let me know and maybe I can help you find a home for it.
Hi Dan, Thanks for your advice. I am not a writer... I am wanting to connect her with someone...
Any thoughts? Take care,
Erin
Oh that sounds exciting! Someone will grab it Erin.
Erin. I sent you an invite so if you want you can PM me so we can discuss this offline.
