Hi I'm Amaobi Ajawara I just graduated from Full Sail University in Winter Park Florida. I specializes in sound I've done Foley and boom for three years but since coming to Full Sail I became a sound mixer. I've moved back to California, but I'm lost, how do I find a job in the film industry as a Foley artist, boom operator, Sound PA, Utilities, and a Sound Mixer. Is there some website, news ad, or do I mail my resume to any production?

Display your work on social media and reach out to other artists, filmmakers, etc. Take any job and never say you can't do a job. Keep your emails short and simple but also be straightforward. There's a lot of jobs in California. Good Luck!

Is there really no faculty or alumni at Full Sail that can provide you with a referral to any production staff in your area?
They do but it's very limited but I do check and contact them everyday. I'll try Mandy.com as well.

I have thought of some paid internships but I'll try entertainment career although for Indeed I did not have some no good experience since I was always getting emails from State Farm, but I will try it again. Thanks for the advice.
