Hi! I'm Sequoia, but feel free to call me Quoia! I am twenty one years old, I live in the Seattle area and I am DYING to break into the film business! I am an aspiring actress, singer and writer! I have been writing novels since I was thirteen years old, though I have yet to finish one yet, and I have gotten into writing screenplays nowadays. A few months ago I got tired of not being able to really find much acting work myself in my area so I decided to write a tv show that I can star in as well! I am currently working on a television series about what it's like to be trying to find your way through life in your twenties in the 21st Century. I had originally planned it to be a comedy then ended up adding a little drama to it, but now I'm thinking maybe it's more of a drama with a little bit of comedy in it. I'd love to find people to help me out with it! So just add and talk to meee if you are interested in it! Or even just in discussing storytelling at all! I love making new friends, especially who are into the same things I am!

Welcome Quoia, I looking forward to hearing more about your writing! I think a tv series about life in your twenties in the 21st century is an amazing idea. If I could recommend a good book for research, I would suggest reading "The defining decade". Its a great read and super informative on the topic of your tv series.

Thank you so much! :) Does the meetups group really work? And that’s so cool you write your own stuff to act in too! I don’t really study anything for my writing craft. I’ve looked at other scripts to see how it’s done and all but really I just do it on my own :) and do you mean my acting jobs?
