Under There are No Bad Questions

Ok. I realize this may be obvious but I am asking at the risk of embarrassing myself.  I noticed recently a post on Instagram that showed what I presume to be FD10. The format was different from anything I had seen before. I work off FD8. Please be kind. The question is this. What is the main difference between the 2, AND, I actually have not mastered the process of creating the Secondary Screen for Plot Points, Highlighting FlashBacks, etc.  i work off of an monstrous wall of notes and sticky tape and then use the Mac to work linear for perspective.  But obviously, there is a better system.  That everyone else is using!  Any tips or clarification would be greatly appreciated since I trust  Y'all! .S. I am going through rewrites. I think this could help with the process. Thanks,  T

I don’t have an answer for you but I just wanted to stress that this is a valid question and no need to feel embarrassed ever as this is a place for help and support. Good luck.

I started with FD8, upgraded to FD9 and see no reason to move to FD10 yet. The script format between 8 & 9 is the same - so I doubt that's your issue. My guess is that you stumbled into a category that includes numerous different formats (BBC, 3 cam TV, stage formats & some others - I don't even go there. I don't recall what it's called.

Thanks All. I am looking into FD10. I think it might be great for rewrites.
