My team and I are working on an option for a recently released novel by first time author Jeff South."Kilroy Was Here" - it is currently on Amazon and is a fun, cinematic read. https://www.amazon.com/Kilroy-was-Here-Jeff-South-ebook/dp/B079TPM59B/re... Also, I would like to suggest that anyone who loves to read, check out author Wiley Cash. I believe he is one of the great American authors writing at this time. The novels are set in the Carolinas, and his most recent novel, "The Last Ballad" is based on some real events. Prose like poetry, Cash is the first author since Cormac McCarthy, that I have read, who inspires a real "you are there" feel in every scene, character, and story arc. He us nuanced, efficient as a storyteller, and you will not forget his novels long after you have finished reading them.
My personal favorite so far is "A Land More Kind Than Home".
