hello everyone, i'm a new upcoming film maker doing my first funding campaign and was just wondering if i can have your opinion on it from watching pitch reel. I know this movie isn't for everybody, but i just feel that it will connect with alot of others..promotional trailer is also included in link
Tyrone, Is that you in the Yankees hat? If so, I thought you showed great humor and still passion for your subject matter. Funny, sarcastic, poignant. I would however, break these up into different videos - I have seen that done. So, you have more content to post at different times. I would end the first - and MAIN VIDEO - with "That's all we can ask for man ... Just help us out." That will give you a main video of 2:48. If that's all they watch, I think you are the most engaging one. The ONLY issue I take with you is that you are wearing a YANKEES hat! See, I'm a diehard METS fan! Long-suffering, as well. LOL! On a more serious note, I would end it at 2:48 for the FIRST and MAIN VIDEO and then, break it up to another video. Extra content! Or as they say in MLB in extra innings: Free Baseball! Also, there are LGBTQ distributors that would be interested in a movie like this. Also, I won't lie, it always helps to get some names involved. That's the only drawback that I see, but I do understand it is an independent film. One of my friends, David Harris, played Cochise in The Warriors and also had a major supporting role in an Oscar-Nominated Best Picture, A Soldier's Story, opposite Denzel Washington. He is usually down to work in indies. Just sayin'. Either way, GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! ;)
