I have just completed producing and directing a 23 minute action film called "Bloodline Blues", that I will be submitting to film festivals. Any advice about the appropriate festivals to send it to, will be most appreciated. https://youtu.be/3yPmwKivQqU
I have also acted in a feature film called "ilo ilo" that won the Camera d'Or award, Cannes Film Festival (2013)
50th Golden Horse Awards (2014). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilo_Ilo)
Two of the short films I acted in have gone viral, namely:
"Gift" and "Hentak Kaki" that garner 30 million hits and 1 million hits online, respectively.
I am also the winner of the Best Performance Award at the 3rd and 5th Singapore Short Film Awards (2012 and 2014).
Currently, I am producing a feature film that I have written. This is the third feature film I have been a co-producer in. The other two are "Certified Dead", (http://www.certifieddead.com) and "Justice Devil" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3726214/).
Regarding Festivals, i advise you: to look at the jury (if they are established industry people or not) , for how long the festival had been running, what are the prizes ( only money or meeting with managers, agents...) and success stories about it ( what happened to the ones who won it). Good luck Michael
