Hey everyone, I joined Stage32 a couple of years ago and participated in the Introduce Yourself Lounge back then. I found it hugely helpful in meeting new people in the industry, getting motivated as I embarked on this new craft, and listening to advice and tips on what to expect as an aspiring filmmaker. I love Stage32 for the community and resources available to those of us in this field. However, I've since gotten busy with "regular" life stuff and really fell off the path of pursuing my purpose in getting my first film made. So, I say all that to say lol, I'm so glad another opportunity came up to introduce myself again and help me re-ignite my passion.
I'm very new to this world, with just one screenplay written so far that I'm working on trying to get made now. It's called The Queen's Gambit and centers on three Philadelphians learning how to practice true self-awareness by navigating through the intricacies of their complicated interconnected relationship. I'm very excited about it, the soundtrack is going to be amazing and I'll finally see what I call "my Philadelphia" on-screen :). I have two other movies that I'd like to write and make after that, as well as currently working on a web series idea (more to come on that). I look forward to a productive end of the summer going into fall and plan to have some exciting updates for you!
