Introduce Yourself : Writer-Director-Actor based in Singapore by Michael Chua

I am a film actor that have acted in 350+ productions in English, Mandarin, Chinese dialects and Malay, over the last 8 years, in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China. Since 2015, I have started writing my own scripts and directed my own short films.

Here are some of my milestones:

1. I have won two acting awards at the Singapore Short Film Awards in Singapore for:

2. Two films that I have acted in had gone viral, namely:

3. I am cast as the lead actor in a feature length movie "Certified Dead" (2016), produced and directed by Marrie Lee, aka Cleopatra Wong of the Cleopatra Wong series of cult movies in the 1970s and 1980s.

4. I have written/produced/directed/acted two short films, namely:

5. I have written two feature length scripts, namely:

---- "Cepat Jalan", an army drama genre. Pre-production has started and the poster and trailer are done.

6. I have been selected and am currently attending a writing masterclass/workshop called Lasalle WritersLab 2018, coached by an international expert Mr Colin Muir and Mr Ken Kwek. I am required to write a Web/TV series, which I choose to write an action-thriller series about an ex-army warrant officer who has become a private investigator.
