So excited to let everyone know that our Women in Film chapter just completed our first short film! We had apprentices following all of the key positions to give women the hands-on experience they need to advance in their fields. The final product will be shown as part of a TedX Mile High Adventure along with a short play and a podcast based on the same material, in conjunction with a women's playwriting festival that we partnered with.'
I'm the founding president and current Vice President of Women in Film and Media Colorado, and we are working hard to advance the cause of equality for women in the entertainment business. Sometimes it seems like an uphill battle, but we're not giving up or backing down!
