Filmmaking / Directing : Going to AFM this year. Is it worth it? by Silvana Arias

Silvana Arias

Going to AFM this year. Is it worth it?

My film "In The Light" will go to AFM this year. The distribution company will screen it for potential buyers. Have you ever pitched new projects at the AFM or maybe found a producer partner over there? How was your experience?

Jean Buschmann

No, not yet. But I just want to wish you the very best with your project. This seems like a film after my own heart, and one I'd enjoy immensely. (Yo estaba muy cerca de mi amada madre, a quien cuidaba toda mi vida, debido a su enfermedad. Dios te bendiga .)

Bo. R. R. Tolkien

good for you. hoping you the best. I have two projects, a serial and a feature film. I just want them sold and let the producers produce it their way. That's the best I can hope for until I find new ideas.

Don Diego

AFM is a place to go and to be for everything. Good luck. I am going there too.

Silvana Arias

Thank you Jean Buschmann . ¡Igualmente!

Silvana Arias

Thanks Bo. R. R. Tolkien Good luck with your projects!

Silvana Arias

Really? Don Diego How many times have you been there? Have you closed any deals at AFM?

Don Diego

4 times. I helped to close some distribution deals there and find additional financing too. It worked for me in the past. Love the energy there.

Amber MacPherson

Congrats! I'll be there, too!

Silvana Arias

Don Diego good to know! Thank you!

Silvana Arias

Amber MacPherson thank you!!!
