Introduce Yourself : Mda telethon by George Pierson

I have a question for every member, however humble, of Stage 32. I was just reading on wikipedia about the defenct MDA Telethon. I would like to know if it would be possible to bring back the telethon and if so, how it could be done. I think that it would make a good project for everybody on this site.
