While I am a big fan of Filmfreeway, I am not satisfied with having a structured festival distribution strategy with the platform. Filmfreeway is a marketplace and while they have made submissions very easy for filmmakers and film festivals alike, there is just very little benefit when it comes to strategically submitting your film to festivals.
For we African filmmakers, it's harder for obvious reasons. For a well-structured festival distribution service, you can check out festivilia.com and Festivalwhizz.
Full disclosure: I work at Festivilia. I am a member of the Film Curation Team.
Good one brother, your analysis is pretty correct. I was at filmfreeway but had to slow down my involvement. I'll check out these other links you provided and see how it goes. Thanks again.
