So I'm flirting with the idea of taking scripts that I write and turning them into sort of a hybrid of radio drama/table reading that are fully produced. However, I don't believe I can carry an entire performance myself and was wondering if there are any voice actors here who would consider working on a project like that?
I can't pay a single penny as this is a labor of love to get my stories out, but I'd be glad to post all of your relevant information when the episodes are published. I know that sucks, but eventually, if the project takes off over time and makes some advertising cash, maybe I could pay some. Anyway, it'd be one more feather in the cap for someone looking to fill out their resumes with experience.
I'm not ready to begin recording for quite a bit yet, but I do have details worked out about how to work and record folks from anywhere in the country using the Internet.
I'm just trying to see if I can actually find folks who would want to be a part of this before I even get started on it.
As a side note, I need to mention that I'm just doing one offs and not a long series of episodes, so the commitment is basically just two hours, maybe three for recording sessions. I'm also open to possibly doing this with other people's scripts if I like the story, so if you have a script you can't seem to sell but want to see the story produced in some capacity, perhaps we could discuss doing that! Thanks!

Michael, I'm sure you'll find plenty of folks interested in helping you out in order to have a credit and some additional audio for their demo reel. Any pro voice over people will be able to record high quality audio from their home studios. You could set standards and then master the audio at your studio.
I've been doing voice over work for many years and would be happy to help in any way I can.
Mike
Also, and you may have already done this, put this post up in the actors lounge. I'm sure lots of voice actors will see it. :)
