So awesome to join this network! I’m Jamie, and I’ve been in voiceover for over 20 years and have worked almost the entire gamut of projects in the field from corporate narration, to radio and television. I have a smooth, genuine, and soothing sound that conveys confidence and authority in audio productions. My background includes being a radio personality since the age of 18, where I discovered my love for the creative side of vo production. After leaving radio a few years back, I turned my focus to Crucible Productions, a company I started in 2009. On the lighter side of life, I enjoy designing sound for stage productions and have recently completed a show for Landing Theatre Company’s commissioned micro-theatre project “Uncharted.”

Hey Jamie! Such a pleasure to have you and your wealth of experience here on Stage 32. I know you just got here, but we have so many actors on the platform interested in VO work and we're always looking for guest bloggers. If the mood strikes you along the way and you have a topic you're passionate enough to write about, please do drop Joleene a line at Joleene@stage32. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you around the neighborhood!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ll give that some serious thought, because as video becomes more integral to our everyday day lives, the amount of vo opportunities are increasing exponentially. It’s a wonderful industry and I would like to encourage as many people as possible to pursue their interests in voiceover as a career or addition to their acting abilities!
No question, Jamie. We'd love to have you involved. And, in the meantime, feel free to start from VO threads in the Acting Lounge! Great to have you on board.
