Hi everyone. I have been acting for quite along time in a very, very small market, but, never the less, have had good success. If you would like, you can see me as the Wounded Bank Guard, in the DMX music video "Party Up" on YouTube. I am a novice in Screenwriting, but my Screenplay "Crackerjacks" won the Best Action Screenplay at the Austin Revolution Film Festival in Sept. 2018. "Crackerjacks", a WWI Army Air Corps story and was a semi-finalist in the WeScreenPlay Contest. This past week, I just completed a Short Script call "Witchdoctor" which is an Action/Supernatural Genre. Now working on a Thriller Script. When you don't have to depend on a "day job", you have plenty of time to create.
Welcome Henry! I am sure we can learn much from your esteemed experience and expertise. :)
Create! Create! Create! I wish had more money to create with lol ... alas, we do what we can ... for love of the craft.
The thing is, once you do an audition, don't worry if you get it or not, if you didn't get it, determine why and how you could have done it better. Writing is much more different.
Your have to have a good story that catches everyone's attention, especially the reader. You must double and triple check it for spelling and grammar issues. Then is must be perfect in Format. If you clear these three guide post, you are off to a good start.

Keep in mind, what you think is a good story to you is not necessarily a good story to someone else. Then you have to make it through all the other hurdles and roadblocks. So Write Away.
Yes, I had two auditions this week and once they were done, they were done. If I get the call I will be ecstatic, if not then on to the next one. Meanwhile ... I look for how I can feed my need to create.

Be thankful you get two auditions in a week. In the small market, I am lucky to get two Auditions in two months.
