My next door neighbor was the first art director in Hollywood, Ben Carre, whose credits included The Jazz Singer and the Paris Opera scenes in Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera - and was a mentor to me. With that pedigree, its no wonder I knew early on that the film business was for me.
For most of my years in the business, I've been a cameraman (features, documentaries). Over the years I wrote five screenplays for fun, but recently I've gotten serious and concentrated on writing through my Sci-Fi TV series project in development:
