Introduce Yourself : Live Directing Niche by Nathan Brubaker

Hi all, I am a freelance live director (going on 5 years) from DFW area and find that my skills seem to be almost a niche if you aren't connected to a strong -- almost underground -- local network. Or at least it seems that networking is even more important for this skill than with other industry roles. Is there anybody out there with similar skills that experience this?
