I have written 84 skeleton spec scripts for teens and young adults that are Christian but which middle-agers don't like. Marketing the pilot has made many twists and turns.
If you're under 35 (producer, director, writer, etc.), I'll exchange scripts with you to critique.
I talk to producers who like the unique concept, but as soon as they hand it over to an "expert" who is middle-aged, they kill it. I think this is going to be like "the ask-for motor oil" (Pennzoil) which the company couldn't find anyone to market. It became customer-driven and became successful.
I'll even read your horror script (which I don't like) and give you, well, a neutral critique.
