Hello all!
I'm a Brit who started adapting books into plays at eight years old, and after university worked as an actor/writer, often devising scripts as well as performing.
Then I did a stint of playwriting at the Tricycle Theatre in London, tutored by award-winning playwright Bonnie Greer; and after that, worked as an advertising copywriter - for about two decades.
In short, I forgot to become a screenwriter. Oops.
Now I have a Master's in Scriptwriting for films, TV, stage and radio. In the last year I’ve penned a full-length tragicomedy for the stage that's won me an agent, a stylish psychological drama pilot that's already won six awards at international film festivals, another drama/comedy pilot set in a company that makes and markets sex toys plus two short film scripts and a dark, rhyming YA musical in exact meter. So although I have masses to learn, I'm feeling cautiously (read foolishly) optimistic.
I'd love to talk to UK producers, camera and sound people who might be interested in collaborating.
