This book is AWESOME. Think: Stephen King meets C.S. Lewis. Sounds crazy? Well, it is.
This author last gave us The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which was a hilarious movie. But this book is nothing like its predecessor. It's a horror, thriller, supernatural, religious-themes, good-versus-evil nightmare in real life, apocalyptic world smashup. It's also very long (which still ends up not being long enough) and reminiscent of Stephen King-esque tales, but with one twist: a great ending. (Even SK himself admits he's not so hot with endings.)
If you're looking for a twisty-turny, magical-realism, horrorish, C.S. Lewis alternative world tale -- then pick up this book NOW.
