Hello Stage 32ers. I've been a member for a while but have to confess to being somewhat at arm's length. But, now suddenly, I find myself with more time on my hands and an opportunity to actually do all those things that I've said I'll do 'when I have time'.
So, to introduce myself, I run a company called Footprint Films (with my producing partner Mark Blaney) and I'm a feature and short film producer, working mainly, but not exclusively, with emerging talent. Our feature film - out on all the major premium streaming platforms at present - Escape from Pretoria (starring Daniel Radcliffe) - was written and directed by a first time feature director. We like telling stories that are true or at least feel like they should be true! And, also that hopefully inspire people to get out there and do something to make the world a better place.
After an insanely busy last year it's quite strange to find myself stuck indoors and having more time. Who knows what the production landscape will look like in a few months time but hoping you, like us, are just pressing on developing new projects ... dreaming of brighter and better days ahead.
