Idea Management

How do you know if an idea should be a film or a TV show? What characteristics of the idea tell you which it should be?

Craig D Griffiths

A TV series is a universe. You can tell multiple stories in that universe. A film is a story that can be told once.

William Martell

In the USA a TV show usually needs to run 100 episodes before they make any real profit. So are there 100 episodes in this idea?

A movie is about a person with a problem.

A TV show is usually about a person who solves other people's problems. Doctors, police, lawyers, paranormal investigators, etc. Or, in the case of a sit-com, a group of people in a situation where there is always a new problem. An office, a school class, a family, a business.

Can you easily imagine 100 problems?
