Hello Everyone,
This is the second time that I see Manga influance in movies.
Remember the first Avangers. The scene where Locki uses the Tesseract to open up a portal. I saw that years ago in a French anime called wakfu before Marvel produce the Avangers.
When it comes to Spider-Man: Far From Home , all fans of Naruto will see the antigonist as a geek version of Madara. Madara Uchiwa has the capability to dive an enemie into an illusion by using only the power of his eyes's pupils.
That illusion is in Spider-Man: Far From Home ; but it's produced by drones controlled by the antigonist.
Are there animes fans here though animes are not popular in English speaking countries?
Regards.
I am glad to know that. So you are a big fan?
Well i kinda disagree, just to be accurate. The first "Narutos" were published in 1997 and the antagonist from Far From Home, "Mysterio", appeared for the first time in 1964. Therefore and using your words "Madara" is the geek version of Mysterio and not the other way around. And for the portal thing, well Stargate did it way before Wakfu and Avengers for example. I just don't see how your examples are inspired from Manga Anime but yes, Hollywood movies sometimes take from Mangas, look at the climax in "Chronicle" which is totally inspired by the Manga "Akira".
In stargate, Portal ring are used. But in wakfu, it's something similar to a door connecting two space. It's a breach in space that connect earth to another world the same way Locki did it.
When you look at the way Itachi Utchiwa attacks his enemies with Genjutsu, you would agree with me about the fact that the director got inspired by the manga in order to do the special effects.
Wakfu and Loki use indeed space portals but i really don't think the screenwriters inspired from Wakfu. Space portals have been used way, way....way before, look at DC Boom tubes for example.
Regarding, Itachi. I watched some to get what you're sayin but I don't think at all the director got inspired by Naruto. I mean "Mysterio" is the master of illusion, they used their creativity to create illusions that fit the film, they mostly inspired from the existing materials in my opinion. But if you think not, i respect your opinion nonetheless.
They were not inspired by the Manga when creating these existing characters. However, giving a power to a character or something is different from showing it.
Manga are highly skilled animated movies so that it really help a writer trying to learn Showing.
As a director, won"t watching MANGA special effect inspire you?
