Hi everyone! I'm an LA-based screenwriter/filmmaker... Just finished by seventh film-- an 18 minute thriller-- and now wondering what the current climate is with regard to festivals. I'd love to hear from anyone that has some insight. If it's worth going the festival route considering most have moved to online only.

Ugh. Festivals. I miss them! I have. A film that just got into a festival that swears it’s still happening, but, even if it does, I probably won’t feel comfortable traveling. Was thinking this morning that more international festivals might be a good bet! Or festivals in places that haven’t been horribly effected by covid? Chattanooga Film Festival put on an AMAZING online festival during covid and I was really lucky to have two films there - they even held panels and streamed them so I felt like I still mattered! It was great!

Is attending international festivals an option right now? I thought most countries won't allow people from the U.S. to enter.
I just got a Zoom video accepted at the International Windows Festival out of India. I do not plan on attending.
